  1. You would see the notification in your Google Search Console under Manual Actions & Security - if you don't use that, and good way to confirm if Google has removed your site is to type site:yourdomain.com and see if anything comes up. If your result looks like this, your site has been removed, and you would need to go into search console, fill out the manual review and state what actions you took to fix the issues and ask to be re-indexed.
  2. Did you received a manual action by chance? I know alot who have and been completely removed from Google. I'm in a few different niches adult & main stream - 3 out of 5 so far have seen declines. ~20% If you're interested - here is a list of some main stream sites the SEO Gurus on X/Twitter have put together that have received manual actions for using what they "Google" considers AI Spam and backlink spam and not adding any new value to the search engine - so they have removed their sites completely. https://nichesitemetrics.com/google-march-2024-ai-spam-manual-action/ Some of these sites were getting millions of hits a month and Goggle just removed their whole site. My tube sites don't seem to be hit too hard - yet - This roll out is suppose to take 30 days - then the next one May 5th. My blogs are the ones that have been hit most - so far.
  3. So I do have that setup - I do see some .mp4 files in my sitemap, I think the issue might be having different formats for some videos and not other videos. Most of my videos are 1080p only - however some are also only 720p and some are only 480p - I don't create multiple formats. Sometimes it doesn't make sense, like for my sports niche, most of the videos are 1080p - but I do have some vintage footage that wouldn't work in a 1080p style without AI converting enhancements and adding 100s of MBs to the size - so I have several 100 that are 480p. Is there a way to show the format of the files that are 480p ?
  4. Hey - I noticed the other day on my Search Console my structure data no longer provides the .mp4 file / it provides an embedded link - the file is stored on my local drive, so its odd, this also shows up for files I have on a cloud as well.
  5. Hey - Just reading all this, I'm a bit confused why changing from /videos/ to /video/ If you go to some of the biggest sites [ examples - xhamster & faphouse and even Reddit all use /videos/ ] - And have actually gained traffic per SemRush. So I'm not too sure that was the issue - I have also not experienced any deindexed and I use /videos/ I did experience some issues with 1 video site a few months back - after doing some digging around, it was advised I remove any ads at the top of my page and allow the video player to fully load before the fold of the site. So I did - I had 1 ad at the top that would appear before the video player and removed it - I also moved the title, date, user to below the video as well - I saw improvements within a few weeks. If you go over to Twitter and search "google deindexed videos" You will see 100s of people who have experienced their videos getting deindex from all sorts of niches, sports, entertainment, podcasts - starting in October 2023 - each person has a "different" reason as to why and how they tried to fix it. I just wanted to say this, as I don't believe the deindex issue is specific to KVS.
  6. I have a similar question —were you able to get this to work? It concerns titles on my website, which display each word's first letter in capitals, example - "The Best Places To Visit In Canada 2024". Here's the CSS snippet I've implemented for CSS styling: h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 { text-transform: capitalize; } This works only for the HTML - but not for search seo. I can go in and manually edit each video's title, but its alot.
  7. Update - We figured out the issue - It seems the other domain we were connecting to to get to the storage folder has some Apache security headers. We removed them and it seems to load ok now.
  8. Sorry- I didn't mean grabbing videos, as in the grabber plugin, I meant when going to the video - the sever grabs the video from the other server. All 3 servers are in the same country - videos on the local HD load just fine - no buffering - but the videos on the other servers are slow to start and load. I was just wondering if there was a setting or module I should have installed. I did look into some forum, it might be an issue with NGIX cache on the other servers. Thanks
  9. Hey, Recently I set up 2 storage servers - Utilizing a 2nd HD I already had on them. I'm noticing the videos stored on those servers buffer and are slow to load more then the local videos. What settings should I double check ? The other servers are using Cpanel , I double check the php.ini - firewall settings I can't see anything that sticks out since the server allowed the video upload in the 1st place, and it does stream, just buffers slow. The other servers are on a 1GB port - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X - 64Gb RAM - and the Hard Drive I'm using on those one are 4T SATA and the other is a 3.6T NVMe. I'm wondering if the setting for grabbing these videos are on my main server. Thanks :)
  10. Hey - I'm working on some SEO and text and titles - I can't seem to figure out how to get the 1st letter of every word to be a capital. I have tried a few tricks I would use in WordPress for CSS - but it doesn't seem to work here - any suggestions ? I have a few 3 - 4 word tags -- example " The Funniest Cat Videos" - but when using %tag% the title comes out "The funniest cat videos" - I would like the 1st letter of each word to be a capital. This is is my custom CSS I thought would work , but it doesn't seem to work, still shows the 1st word capitalized only. I have over 700 tags, so ideally I don't want to go in and edit each one. /* Heading */ #list_videos_common_videos_list .heading h1{ text-transform:capitalize; } /* Heading */ .main .description-holder h4{ text-transform:capitalize; } /* Heading */ .col-video .title-holder h1{ text-transform:capitalize; }
