We moved this post away from 4.1 topic.
As we said before on this topic, we do not see any reason for this functionality. We do not understand why this functionality is needed. Until we have no understanding on this, we can't add it into KVS.
The idea is to combine several videos into a single one, for example a movie that is divided by scenes, it would be great to upload all the scenes and become one

In Push notifications plugin we added ability to enable it only for specific traffic (referers), which may be useful if you don't want to show push notifications for all traffic:

ReCAPTCHA plugin was updated with ability to configure separate keys for alias domains if your project is working in parallel under several domains:

Concatenate two videos
Only if the files you want to concatenate have the exact same encoding settings can you concatenate without re-encoding:
ffmpeg -f concat -i files.txt -c copy output.mp4
In the files.txt file, place urls to the files you want to concatenate:
file '/path/to/video1.mp4' file '/path/to/video2.mp4' file '/path/to/video3.mp4'
You can add -safe 0 if you are using absolute paths. If you miss some frames after concatenation, keep in mind that the concatenation happens on I-frames, so if you don't cut at exactly the right frame, FFmpeg will discard all frames up to the nearest I-frame before concatenating.

Functionality that pays tokens to users for others watching their videos has been extended with separate option for embed codes.
A "view" for a video is counted when this video is watched on your site and via embed code. Therefore it was not possible to pay tokens only for embed codes. In 4.1 we added a new setting to allow you enable token payment for only embed codes (views on your site will not be counted and paid here):

A few days ago I saw someone asking how to do this and they did not give a solution, I bring them here it is very simple and useful if you download videos from pornhub community.
What you should do is the following:
1 - Go to settings
2 - Enter the video format
3 - Enter the video format (in my case I only have 1 which is MP4)
4 - Add this -ss 00:00:04 in the FFMPEG options
5 - Save the changes
With this, what we do is that when the video starts to convert, the video starts in the second 4 and eliminates the first ones that were followed.

Why do you need this? We don't remember anyone is ever asking the same feature, never heard of videos that are divided into parts except old 2000s video FHGs.
It is not to divide them, it is to UNITE them in a single video, for example Ecena 1, Ecena 2, Ecena3 FINAL result, a single video with all the scenes.

We've added one more feature to the advertising module - ability to show different ads in different browsers.
It looks like Google Chrome will start advertising crackdown soon, disabling popunders, floating ads and some other. It may be extremely important to use different advertising strategy for different browsers, so KVS will now allow this as well in addition to device type restriction:
